Jessica Hengen and Jennifer Hippely have joined creative forces, to offer an Introduction to Precious Metal Clay Workshop. J.Hengen Studio is located in the Arts and Crafts village of Sugar Loaf, NY and has become valuable resource for jewelry artists who want to advance their skills, or to learn an entirely new facet of art.

PMC is Precious Metal Clay; it looks, feels and performs much like earth clay. Jewelers and metal smiths with an affinity for clay arts would take this medium and find endless possibilities. Once fired, the clay becomes .999 pure silver (depending upon the PMC metal you are working with) and can be marked accordingly. This is perfect for making original pieces, or difficult details, and can be soldered and hammered like roll or cast silver.
Feel free to contact me anytime about PMC: firstname.lastname@example.org
Jessica Hengen is the owner of J.Hengen Studios; a studio for clay art and a full jewelers studio with several stations for visiting artists. While famous for her clay sculpture celebrating human emotion, and oceanic influence, Jessica also offers a refined, rustic pottery line that is entirely hand thrown rather than cast. You can view a few of her sculptures and pottery at the Storefront of J.Hengen in Sugar Loaf, NY.
