About your FoxFern Art Jewelry
Each piece of FoxFern Jewelry is handwrought using a unique balance of traditional metal techniques and sculpture.
Every intricate detail is made by artist hands hammering, sawing, carving, engraving & soldering, these subtle marks add to the individual charm.

Care:
FoxFern Jewelry is well made with pride, and intended to be worn regularly. Stones such as diamond, sapphires, and rubies are three of the hardest stones on the MoHS scale and can be worn in water. Gold, fine silver and sterling silver can also be worn in water.
NOTE: If you have sulfur in your water, it can turn your silver black.
STONES - SPECIAL CARE:
Opal - Do not wear in water or wash in detergents.
Fordite - (Man made) Do not wear into or wash in detergents.
Amethyst - Photosensitive; can fade in long term exposure to sunlight.
Rose Quartz - Photosensitive; can fade in long term exposure to sunlight.
Turquiose - Porous; this is a delicate stone, do not wear in soapy or salty water. Can absorb perfumes and body oils.
Cleaning:
You can use a polishing cloth on your silver piece, HOWEVER it MAY remove dark areas and detail and change the overall look of your piece.

Materials
All pendants, rings, and earring dangles are made using 999 Fine Silver, which is as close to pure silver as you can get. All chains, bracelets, cuffs and earring posts are made of 925 USA Sterling Silver for strength. All gemstones (excluding Fordite) are natural, precious gems, and most are heat treated.

FoxFern Studios stands behind the craftsmanship of this piece . We warranty each piece and it’s materials up to one year from the date printed on your receipt. Please save your receipt, or register your jewelry below.
Registering Your FoxFern Jewelry and the Jewelry ID

Many FoxFern pieces have a FoxFern ID, which can be located on the back of your pendant, bracelet or ring. Each piece of FoxFern jewelry with this ID number was entirely hand crafted and signed by the artist, JHippely and the ID number verifies its authenticity. We keep a register of each piece and it's ID number.
By registering your item, we create a record of each item and who owns it. If you should ever lose your art jewelry, the finder may try look the item up on the internet and we can communicate with them to get it back and return it to you.
