Personal Note;
I tend to draw while at the coffee shop, with friends or absorbing good conversation with strangers. I worked on this piece while at the Starbucks outside of the Hoboken, NJ Path Train. A woman mentioned she would like this for her daughter's room, because the goldfish looks inquisitive and ambitious, just like her daughter.
This is a portrait of my Black Moore fish "Penny", she started out black and turned copper. A friend once told me that she had changed colors, because she had absorbed all the negative energy in the tank.
