A Li'l More About FoxFern

Oh, you want to know more about US?
(We're flattered.)
Are we REAL people? - Yup.
Do we make and ship the cards ourselves? - You betcha.
Are we nice? - Well, depends on how much coffee Fern has had and if Mailman Dave had to pivot, or not. :)

We are "Maildude Dav" and Jennifern; a Postal Proud duo in NY with a small paper business obsessed with one thing: POSTAL STATIONERY. Our entire business is dedicated to USPS employees and postal fanatics like you.

FoxFern isn't just ANY postal themed paper, Mail Carriers deserve quality and great service as much as anyone else. Our cards are made from the best card stock in the USA, and would fit into any expensive department store. They are also crafted with the kind of care and eco-awareness that would fit into trendy shops.
We put a lot of time into creating the original hand painted or illustrated art and are proud to be making designs just for USPS employees. (At a reasonable price.)

Our premium greeting cards and notepads are all made in America on USA Paper. Due to limited and fluctuating paper supplies, the majority of our papers are a minimum of 10-30% but we use 100% recycled whenever possible. Our papers are also proudly USA made. Each order is crafted and packed in our humble studio in Campbell Hall, NY.

Jennifern designs, paints, prints, trims, and packs orders, while Dav folds, fills orders, and ships (after he finishes his city route, of course). Our son is a strict supervisor, but plays a great Super Mario Brothers soundtrack.
Dav is a City Carrier and Shop Steward from New Jersey. Jennifern is a self taught artist born in Ohio, but is proud to have also lived in MI, NJ, MD and PA. We now call a small town in the Warwick Valley region of NY, our forever home.

Maildude Dav
Design Director, Packaging, Shipping Manager and The Fun Parent
(Side Hustle - City Carrier, Shop Steward, Academy Instructor)
Dav is a City Carrier for the USPS in rural New York. When he is not hurdling snow banks, racing dogs, or confirming "Current Residents", he spends his time making sure FoxFern orders are packaged, processed and shipped ASAP.
Little Dude
Executive Director of Employee Entertainment and Sticker Adhesion (Side Hustle - Minecraft Construction, Video Game Testing and Cat Petter)
A long career in questioning authority, and serving up humble pie, LD is a lot of wisdom in a small package. Known to be the most sarcastic in the office, he keeps the laughs coming and provides the comic relief. When he's not monitoring morale in our production room, he's great at reminding us to take "hot cocoa breaks" and there is always time for donuts.
Jennifern
Artist, Creative Type & Cranky Mom
(Side Hustle - Painter and Professional Pumpkin Artist )
Jennifern is an autodidactic artist living in NY State with her young son, USPS Carrier partner and a menagerie of beloved pets. A long career in Business Development and Graphic Design, she now focuses on FoxFern Postal art and stationery designs.
Has FoxFern been around a long time?
- OMG, yes. I can't believe how long I have loved doing this! (Fern)

A FoxFern History:
Jennifern started her FoxFern business making art, illustrations, sculpture, greeting cards and stationery as a girl with a dream, wayyyyyy back in 2003. Her proud Dad was her first (and most dedicated) sales person. Fern then added FoxFern Fine silver jewelry in 2009, which continues to be a labor of love but took a back seat to Postal Stationery. Fern also enjoys her part-time profession as a pumpkin artist during the fall season.

FoxFern Co., (dba FoxFern Studios), has been around for over 2 decades. Fern designed the first FoxFern logo in 2004; cutting and gluing rubber to make a stamp, and paid for her FoxFern.com website domain. (The logo on our greetings cards is an impression from that first stamp.) She was registered in Ohio in 2004, then with NJ business bureau in 2008, and NY business bureau in 2013. They started card production in their home studio, which grew to a small shop on Smith Street in Warwick, NY in 2019. Covid unfortunately closed our Warwick studio space. We now call a warehouse on a charming farm in Campbell, Hall, NY our "work home".
