This postcard is printed on a very textured paper that feels like a watercolor paper. This is the standard paper we use for our beautiful 5x7 greeting cards. Please note: The caliper on this card stock reads 14PT, but it's a thinner card stock than most of our Postcrossing cards, and only feels/measures thicker because of the texture. 
 
The hummingbirds are still here, perched on a flowering branch of Rose of Sharon. A little girl dutiful changes the humming bird feeder, carefully balanced on a red stepladder, while her pet cat watches.  On the ground are her school books, serving as a reminder that we can't avoid the end of summer.  She is wearing a cute, ruffled, denim dress over a pink blouse.
