This postcard is printed on a lovely textured paper that feels like a woven canvas.  Please note: The caliper on this card stock reads 14PT, but it's a thinner card stock than most of our Postcrossing cards, and only feels/measures thicker because of the texture. 
 
The sun is low in the sky, casting shadows across a late summer garden.  The sleepy kitty lounges under a chair, where someone had just been snapping a bowl full of beans.  A bouquet was recently cut from the flower bed, tucked neatly into a flower basket.   A wagon wheel silently reminds of as days gone by, leaning on the stump that has not run out of purpose as a convenient table. A basket of fresh picked apples shine in late day sun.  It's a warm, and peaceful scene dappled by summer wildflowers.
