His legs may be tired, the route may be long, but he won't let the wind, snow or occasional friendly distraction slow him down.  This gnome is on a mission to deliver much needed mail to the inhabitants of even the darkest part of the forest.  
 
This postcard made for mail carriers is the perfect way to let your customers know you're wishing them a Happy Holiday season. There is room to write "Thank You" if needed, and don't forget to sign your name. 
 
This postcard art shows a shadowy forest scene in shades of purple and blue, with the last rays of sunlight softening the sky.   A determined gnome with a gentle but focused face, and white beard,  wears his postal parka with pride; even while balancing a very heavy mail satchel.  I don't think his pointed green hat is postal issue, but perhaps he didn't have enough in his uniform funds this season.   He holds a lantern aloft to the light a path for himself and a fox friend who bounds playfully beside him.
