My work with Rise of the Jack O' Lantern has come to an end, until next year! Our East Coast studio went through 50.000 pumpkins, many of which were 100+ pounds. Here is a photo of me working at Old Westbury Gardens, on a Live Carve. I wanted to make sure everyone, even the little ones, were able to get up close and see the detail. Here I have the pumpkin on the ground, and I had to squat to work. It was worth every moment, because the kids loved seeing the magic. Carving with my favorite little fans, up close and personal. Ages 3 and 6. Goofing around with co-worker and fellow artist Tony Vitek from Middletown. TEAM EFFORT: Tony illustrated this Hank from 'Finding Dory' pumpkin and I carved it. See me in action in the PIX-11 News clip below. That's my paint brush, and my hand, and my ultra-serious face. VIDEO: youtu.be/G6CCuiSntmU
