Ringing in a New Year

The making of a ring.

I usually get so excited about pendant ideas, that even if I sit down
to make a ring... I get distracted and make more pendants. This is
the first (of several) organic style rings, entirely hand fabricated
​with carefully carved details.

The mountains, are like the face of a loved one; our eyes travel the small wrinkles and scars, each becoming a familiar trail as time passes, made clearer by hard rains, intense heat, and many smiles. This sweet, little, organic ring, is fine silver and entirely hand formed into delicate lines with a hammered shank for a touch of sparkle. The hammered detail is only on the band: closest to the wearer, as if they hold the sparkle and can see it when they need it most.
